East Bentleigh Primary School acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we work and learn, the Boon Wurrung people. We pay respect to their elders, past, present and future for they hold the memories, traditions, cultures and hopes of Aboriginal Australia.
Dear Families,
It’s been another busy and inspiring week at East Bentleigh Primary School. As we head into the final stretch of Term 2, I’ve enjoyed seeing students continuing to work hard in class, support each other in the yard, and take pride in our school environment.
You may have noticed the front of the school is looking especially fabulous — we’ve recently engaged a gardener to help us enhance our grounds, and it’s already making a big difference. A gentle reminder to please use the bins provided to help us keep our school clean and beautiful.
Works Underway – Check Out Our Vision Board!
We are very excited about the building and landscaping works currently underway at EBPS. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to check out the vision board outside my office, which showcases some of the ideas for the new front area of our school. We’re putting in a huge effort to beautify and modernise our school grounds, and we can’t wait to share these upgrades with you.
A big thank you to Michelle and Jane for their creative work in putting the vision board together — it’s full of colour and inspiration!
Congratulations to the Ready Room Crew!
A big shoutout to the Ready Room Crew, who had their first stall at the Thursday Market this week! What a fantastic effort — the treats they prepared were absolutely delicious, and it was lovely to see the smiles of students and parents enjoying the offerings.
Our Thursday Market is one of those special weekly moments where community spirit shines. Thank you to all the staff and students who contribute each week, and a heartfelt thank you to Anita who oversees the entire market — your dedication makes it such a success.
